Speck Systems
Speck Systems is an Indian company that has offered mini unmanned aircraft systems, including the Bird-Eye 650, a man-portable mini-UAS originally designed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) for intelligence, surveillance, target-acquisition and reconnaissance missions. Speck's own product page listed the Bird-Eye 650 among its mini- and micro-UAV offerings, alongside the specifications IAI publishes for the type: an 11 kg take-off weight, a 1.2 kg payload, a 3-metre wingspan, more than four hours of endurance and a 20 km range.
IAI has pursued several Indian manufacturing and marketing partnerships for its Bird-Eye family; in February 2015 it signed a teaming agreement with the separate company Alpha Design Technologies covering the Bird-Eye 400 and 650 specifically, distinct from any arrangement Speck Systems may have had. Speck's original product page, the source for its Bird-Eye 650 listing, is no longer reachable, and no further public, independently verifiable detail on the company's founding date, headquarters or current operating status could be confirmed from sources this site treats as reliable for aircraft and maker entries.
